Details: The Alliance Theatre hosts the world premiere of this modern adaptation of Alice in Wonderland by playwright duo Steve Coulter and Neeley Gossett. Aimed at middle schoolers (and written with them), this version follows Alice on her first day as a seventh grader, navigating between Wonderland and a new school.
7 Stages Home Brew Festival
When: Through November 18
Where: 7 Stages Theatre

Details: 7 Stages will close out their two-week festival celebrating performing arts with staged readings of all-new plays while serving plenty of beer. MailChimp comped everyone’s tickets, so all you need to do is reserve a spot online and show up.
Fantasy in Lights
When: November 17 through January 6
Where: Callaway Gardens
Cost: $10.50-$28 per person
Details: The Callaway Resorts and Garden’s annual Christmas tradition is back, including the Fantasy in Lights, where you can bundle up and take a ride through a glowing forest of lights. Be sure to bring the kids, as those five and younger get free entry. You can take your own car or rent a trolley to drive through the art displays.
Macy’s 70th Annual Great Tree Lighting
When: November 19, 6:30 p.m.
Where: Lenox Square
Cost: Free
Details: Kicking off the holiday season (and prepping the mall for Friday’s influx of Black Friday shoppers), the annual lighting of the 56-foot tree that stands atop the Macy’s store at Lenox Square will feature performances from CeeLo Green, America’s Got Talent runner-up Angelica Hale, Casting Crowns, and RaeLynn, followed by fireworks.
Georgia Dome Implosion Party
When: November 20, 6:45 a.m.
Where: Sun Dial Restaurant
Cost: $50
Details: It’s finally time to close the final chapter of the Georgia Dome’s 25-year run. Sun Dial Restaurant is offering up their prime view of the Dome along with continental pastries and coffee. They will let people in at 6:45 a.m. to watch the Dome go down at 7:30.
