A note from Sean McGinnis, President & Publisher:
The April issue of Atlanta magazine explores where and how Atlantans are living now. The issue looks at how what we call “home” has changed over the past two years as we have redefined the term “nesting” during the age of COVID. Some of the trends that emerged as we were all navigating WFH will forever be with us.
Specifically, we look at what trends are impacting in-town living such as the Beltline, mobility, access to MARTA, green space and living near transit to name a few. For those in the suburbs, we discuss the white hot real estate market along with the development of City Centers, the impact of remote work and how the suburbs are becoming more diverse.
One year removed from the devastating Spa shootings, we look back of the impact of this senseless act and speak to a host of Asian-American community leaders and what steps need to be taken to avoid this happening again. The story pays tribute to the victims and talks about the lasting memories they leave in the community and with their family members.
The April issue also introduces a round up of some of Atlanta’s favorite new drinking establishments as seen through the eyes of notable bartenders, including looking at the growing trend of the non-alcoholic cocktail scene. And, as usual, you can count on Atlanta magazine to provide the latest reviews and recommendations for the city’s ever-expanding dining scene.
