Atlanta Magazine’s November 2020 Issue

A note from Sean McGinnis, President & Publisher:

In keeping with our commitment of providing a complimentary digital edition to our growing audience, we are excited to share with you the November issue of Atlanta magazine.

Atlanta Magazine November 2020 issueWhat a year we’ve had! Consider this November issue your own personal “therapy” issue – or as the cover subject reads – “How to Find Calm in a Year of Chaos.” Wishing 2020 a quick departure, we offer advice from several trained professionals on how to find inner peace when the world around us seems to be falling apart. We’ve even provided you with your very own Coloring Page, presented by our friends at Martin County Florida. Be sure to enter our Coloring Contest and find a bit of respite at the same time!

And, while we’re all ready to put the 2020 election behind us (whether your person won or not), Jennifer Marquez provides a timely look into how married couples and friend groups from different political backgrounds offer hope to all of us on how they’ve managed to overcome their political differences and still remain married and best friends. We can all take away a few lessons from this story.

More practically speaking, we present our annual and in-depth 2020 Independent School Guide for K-12. The Guide presents a thorough list of all accredited Atlanta metro private schools and provides parents with a quick, at-a-glance look into what each school offers and how much a good, private education will cost you.

In this issue we also introduce to you to Lisa Herring, the new Superintendent of Atlanta Public Schools. As with each issue, we take you inside our favorite restaurants and highlight what’s new in Atlanta’s growing food and dining scene.

While you enjoy time with this “relaxing” November issue, be on the look out for our upcoming Best of Atlanta issue coming up in December. Until then, we encourage you to continue to engage with us each month with our print and digital editions and also be sure to sign up for our email newsletters. We remain committed to telling the stories of Atlanta that resonate with all of us and hope you enjoy this November issue. While we will always remain dedicated to delivering compelling stories in print, we are excited to bring you this digital edition as a complement to the print issue and, by so doing, extend our reach even further.
