Now based in Athens, Georgia where she teaches writing classes from her home, Mark has experienced the many ups and downs that come with life. From dealing with rejection to navigating motherhood, her connection with fairytales offers a surprising, and perhaps healing, outlook on life’s troubles.

In this issue, producers of the documentary reflect on the history of the monument and why they wanted to tell this story.
